What could be a better start to the day than finding an article about one of our wines, Rivers of Wine, white wine from Rueda. Thank you to our friends from Recetum. Here is the article:

Today we bring you the tasting notes of a wine that we really wanted to try, the new vintage of Rivers of Wine Verdejo 2015.
Last year we tasted the 2014 vintage of this wine, which was a very pleasant surprise.. At the time we said it was one of the best verdejos we had tasted last year, so we waited eagerly to taste the new vintage.
This new Rivers of Wine seems even better than last year, and was worth the long wait for its arrival.
The previous vintage was ideal when the wine was oxygenated. That is, we put it in the cup and the evolution of aromas and flavors was great, giving excellent sensations in every sip, but when the bottle was just opened and poured in the glass, the wine seemed very strong. However, that does not happen in this vintage, which gives a better entry into the mouth and nose from the beginning.
The evolution in the glass remains spectacular with which we recognize morer with this vintage than the previous one.
We remind you that this wine is a project that bears the same name as the wine, Rivers of wine, which is made in the Rueda by three siblings. Their biggest concern is in the vineyard, in the care of mature vineyard processes much like biodynamic wines. It is really what gives this Verdejo a unique character. It is a jewel that is not easy to find but one that no doubt you have to try.

In the wine glass we find a very nice, clean and bright straw yellow.
The nose is one of its strengths. The old vines that the grapes are taken from are what give this wine great aromatic properties. Like the previous vintage, this will differ much from other verdejos of the area, but not by a huge amount. Its intensity is still medium-high, with a very important fruit notes of green apples and white flowers. Also there is a presence of herbs. It is a varietal wine, but once opened it will evolve to show different nuances in a great nose.
Its other strong point is the mouth. Retaining the varietal characteristics of the Verdejo, the taste is a smooth and palatable entry and quickly the fruity and floral notes can be found. In palate it´s an elegant and fresh wine while retaining its potency. It is persistent but fair. As in nose, there are fruity and floral touches like fennel, hay or aniseed, a very varietal Verdejo.
Without a doubt we have again one of the best verdejos that we are going to try this year. The Rivers of Wine Verdejo 2015 is excellent to drinkby itself or ideal for pairing with summer dishes.

So happy for all the achievements you have gained! Your wines are indeed one of the bests. A lot will surely look forward for what more you can offer.
