
Matarromera closed 2015 with a record turnover
Bodega Matarromera SL, which includes sales of the group of seven wineries in the four denominations of origin of the Duero, billed 20.3 million euros in 2015, 8.6% more than the 18 million euros billed the previous year 2014, with a turnover of 6 million euros. This represents a cumulative increase of more than 3.3 million euros in the last three years, with an increase of 20.16% compared to 16.9 million reached in 2013.
This confirm the success of sales policy of Matarromera, in the domestic market, which exceeds 65% of its total turnover, and in the international market, which has a weight of almost 35% of the total turnover, being Mexico and China foreign markets that have most seen an increase in wine sales group.
The turnover in 2015 is motivated by a number of factors as they are the good increase in high quality wines (sales of crianza, reserva and gran reserva wines have increased more than 24%), along with reduced operating costs, increased profit margins and a higher productivity. The Matarromera brand supports more than 70% of the turnover of the whole company, followed by Emina brand with 15%.
Diversification of warehouses and business lines Matarromera, which will continue its course throughout 2016, allow you to look to the future with prospects for significant increases in turnover in the coming years, overcoming the barrier of 27 million in 2016.
